Testimonials

I contacted Jackie after a period of illness which left me feeling very low. I had never visited a counsellor before and was nervous about what to expect. I need not have worried because Jackie provided a safe and comfortable environment which quickly put me at ease. She is extremely professional, empathetic and a very good listener. I found that she was skilled at asking the right questions just at the right time which encouraged lots of self-reflection. Through my visits to Jackie, I have had the confidence to make significant changes in my life and have gone from strength to strength. I would have no hesitation in recommending Jackie to anyone.

I highly recommend going to see Jackie when I first saw her I didn't have much confidence, I was very anxious and my crutch was food. But now after finishing my counselling with her I am enjoying life, I can actually say I am happy, and I have dropped two sizes in clothes.

I contacted Jackie as my daughter P was struggling with anxiety and lack of self confidence at school which was really impacting on her life. Right from the start Jackie was kind and considerate with her and provided a safe space where these issues could be explored.

Jackie used a variety of methods and made sure she explained everything thoroughly to P. It was a delight to see P willing to talk about things that worried her and see her want to make changes.

Together they came up with effective strategies for the times P felt anxious or full of self doubt. My daughter also felt able to share these with me which was fantastic.

Jackie kept me fully informed without breaking any confidences and was available to talk through things with me. I felt confident and comfortable leaving P with her and P certainly felt at ease with Jackie. She liked the fact that she was listened to, her feelings acknowledged and that she wasn't made to feel 'silly' for how she felt. P felt understood and cared for and as a result she made progress.

I would not hesitate to recommend Jackie and know that we can always contact her again should the need arise.
